C5 Bikeshope

Wala ako masabi, mekaniko at may ari ng shop, napaka down to earth makipag usap, kumpleto ang gamit, presyong di ka tatagain, 5star👍

I have been to many bicycle shops in the greater Manila area and some provinces. The one that surprized me the most is this store on the quiet island of Mindoro. I brought my humble bike to have the hubs and bottom bracket repacked. Despite me having more than a decade old wheels, they treated it well. Their technical team is unique as they utilise different tools than those I am used to. Some are battery operated and their work or bike repair table is one of its kind (made in Europe). Unlike all other shops I have been to where they just wipe some of the dirt of the hubs and bottom bracket, here they completely clean them. The technicians even used degreaser, rust remover and pressurized air. I got the chance to talk with the owner. He said, he learned a lot while fixing bicycles in Italy. Bike repair is quite different there as compared to the Philippines (And that explains the kind of tools and maintenance approach they employ). They treat everyone with respect. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. Eventhough you are just wearing your humble slippers and torned clothes, the store personnel will still assist you. They would even open a conversation and give you tips on how to care for your bike. Amazing! Overall, I am delighted. The C5 Bikeshope is highly recommended.
